Terms of Service for Scott’s Inbox Assistant

Private use

Scott’s Inbox Assistant is a private application operated and used solely by Scott Peters. It is not offered as a public or commercial service.

Authorised accounts

The application may access only Google accounts whose owner has explicitly granted access through Google OAuth. Scott Peters is responsible for ensuring that he is authorised to access and manage every connected account.

Permitted functions

The application may search, read, analyse and organise email, create drafts and send specifically approved drafts.

Sending requires both an explicit instruction and a separate confirmation on Scott’s Mac. Scott remains responsible for reviewing recipients and content before approving a message.

Third-party services

The application relies on services supplied by Google and OpenAI. Their respective terms, privacy policies, availability and account controls also apply.

Availability and accuracy

The application is provided for private use without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or complete accuracy. Important email content, recipients, summaries and proposed actions should be reviewed before being relied upon.

Suspension and termination

Access may be discontinued at any time by revoking Google authorization, removing credentials from macOS Keychain or uninstalling the local application.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated if the application’s functionality or use changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
